DIGEST WITHIN

My present MASTER was once asked --  We are told not to share Darshan ( vision ) of inner MASTER..
HE answered -- we should not even share outer darshan . HIS message is clear...

The MASTER of my MASTER was once asked something similar- MASTER , how can we show our love ...
HE said two words-- DIGEST WITHIN...
Again the message is clear---


SANT KABIR JI says -- Keep your eyes downcast, and keep your BELOVED hidden inside. Have every kind of joy with BELOVED inside. And yet don't let anyone outside know about your union with BELOVED.
It is always intriguing , why MASTERS keep asking us to Digest . On the inner level we have no idea. But it's worth looking into at the outer level. I came across many fellow travelers and kept putting this question to them. And i kept researching about this topic. Why ? Why need to Digest ?

First thing we come across is another hint from SANT KABIR JI -

Once you achieve the jewel that is GOD HIMSELF. Then close your box tightly. Why ? Because in this whole world there is no one who really want to know about GOD, no one who can understand the value of HIM , no one who actually wants to buy HIM, and no one who has the value needed to pay for achieving union with HIM . That value being -- surrendering your head... your ego.


Is that why MASTERS ask us to digest ??

The problem of us Human beings is --- That we do need some kind of GOD, to whom we can put our demands, to whom we can pray and feel spiritual, or to whom we can blame for all our weird circumstances , our failings, our pains. But that's it. More then that we actually don't need any kind of GOD at all. In fact we immediately start worrying about actual possibility of GOD existing. Coz then we also have to accept, that there actually is some power, constantly watching us, possibly judging us, constantly accompanying us. Power which is powerful enough to punish us for our deeds, and strangely enough we even fear -- that there actually is a Power , who can love us unconditionally.

So we want to remain safely enshrouded in our cocoon. Believing that GOD is only to be remembered to pray, to demand or to blame. That kind of power actually lives somewhere high above us. Can't be bothered about little beings like us. Probably very busy power. So how can HE keep an eye on each one of us ??

No one actually wants to be told that GOD exists and is nearer to us, then our own breath. And GOD forbid..... If someone actually comes in front and claim about seeing GOD !!!!!!!

GOD can be seen ??? !!! wow !! that's beyond our thinking and mundane living capabilities. We react in mmm  possibly three ways ---

We ridicule the person claiming to see GOD .......

We worship the person even hinting to see GOD...

We logically and scientifically start analyzing the person claiming to see GOD... Oh !! that egoistic person. He is so full of shortcomings... and GOD chose this person ?? !! to reveal HIMSELF to ?? We were better candidate then this person... and so on .... We won't even allow that person to breath freely... once the claim is been made.

Where is the point in making such claim then ? Interestingly one such claim came to my notice ---

A person named -- D.K.Panda now nicknamed "Radha ". A person who was I.G. when he claimed to have darshan of Shri Krishna in 1991. And attired himself in woman's clothes behaving and calling himself Radha of his Krishna. Since that unlucky claim , his life fall apart. He is still ridiculed in our cultured human society. And many news papers and news channels use his story only to further the ridicule forwarded to him. So who are we to know or to judge that he actually hasn't seen Krishna ?
Coz we can not. We haven't. We can worship every Deity in images and stones. But we know for sure that we can not actually see The Deity. And we conveniently forget -- SAI BULLEHSHAH dawning the clothes of Female dancer to meet HIS own MASTER - SHAH INAYAT. We forget that Paramhans Ramakrishna Himself wore the clothes of Radha. to experience the Bhakti in pure form. we forget ---- we are no one to judge anyone. Specially not for the way anyone chooses to love or worship GOD.

This is what happens to the person claiming to see GOD. Better ------ DIGEST. :)

Then recently came across much closer case. A person who had inner visions of Spiritual Realms, through the grace of person's own MASTER. Seen the downfall of this person. Submitting to one's own ego - this person now claims to know everything. Even going to the length ..... going to shameful length. If this is what Ego does to us... to have HIS grace and the turn with lack of gratitude... and submitting to praises and large crowds of people worshiping. Then better ---- really really really keep our eyes downcast and ---- DIGEST.

There is always the teachings of, keeping our energies focused. Like a rocket can not force it's way out of gravitational pull of earth. Unless each ounce of energy is focused in pushing it upwards. So the soul need single ounce of energy, to force it's way out of the pull of Illusion. Better --- Focus and DIGEST. :)

There may be numerous other reasons for Digesting within. Which we may keep understanding as we grow on our path. Till then we can just trust our MASTERS. And do one thing, that they made very clear ---- Start DIGESTING. Even outer Darshans.

In the end we can always say ---- What lover opens up the secret of a Clandestine meeting or a Rendezvous with very own BELOVED ??  :)

I BOW TO DIVINE IN YOU

This today is just a small note or post. Just to remind ourselves, what we stop noticing. Since our gestures lack the one thing needed most --- Honesty.

So today we will recount, what exactly it means when we greet someone.

Since ages -- Followers of different religions or sects or paths -- whatever we choose to call , our believes regarding worshiping the GOD, have their own unique way of greeting someone from same path. Or even if we choose to respect others , we often use the greetings methods according to their believes. Which ofcourse is very loving gesture.

But if we observe further, every way of greeting essentially say the same thing. To observe and quote a few --

NAMASTEY -- Namah Tasyai --- Meaning - i bow to the divine power inside you.

Sat Shri Akal -- That one DIVINE power is the only Truth. And i greet that truth inside you.

Sahib Bandagi -- That one True Power which is inside you, I bow to that power.

Jai GURU -- That one power which the GUIDE of us all -- worthy of being called -- GURU, may HE be praised.

Radha Soami -- The LORD , the  "Swami " of the Soul  i.e. -- " Radha "  Which dwells with Soul or Radha , I bow to that one True LORD.

Buddha Namo -- I bow to The Buddha in you.

Om Shanti --- Peace be with You.

Dhan NIRANKAR -- GOD is great.

Any many more .... we can keep going on and on... and keep quoting many such ways of greetings. 

And when other traditional Hindu followers of any Deity greet each other, saying --- Jai Shri Krishna , Ram Ram , Radhe Krishna any many others -- They are also acknowledging that Divine Power, whom they worship..


Each type of greeting is in praise of that ONE UPPERMOST DIVINE POWER. When ever we say these greetings to each other, in fact we are trying to call HIS name, to remember HIM, and to greet that one POWER, which dwells inside all of us. Saints has since ages taught us to bow to that POWER. To avail the opportunity to utter with Love and respect HIS name.


Today we need to ask ourselves --- that when we utter these greetings --- full of our very own     "I-ness " are we sincerely bowing or remembering HIM ?? Most of the time we are absentmindedly just repeating these words. Another times, while greeting a person -- we are mentally judging the person or belittling that person in our mind. When are we honestly bowing to that one DIVINE POWER ??When are we actually showing our respect to --- GOD ????

Honestly speaking --- if we think about it... it's the greatest opportunity that has been given to us by HIM .....

To remember HIM... to bow to HIM... and to be thankful to HIM...

So if we can just keep our egos aside for awhile .... Then we can understand that with every single person .. coming our way.. in our daily life, whom we have to offer greetings of any kind... we receive the DIVINE opportunity.

And if we honestly believe that GOD resides in every thing, in every being.... then from today.. from this very moment.. we use these words with utmost respect. And honestly bow down to GOD dwelling within everyone of us ... when we say....Radhasoami Ji, Sahib Bandagi , Om shanti, Sat Shri Akal and even a simple Namastey.

So next time when we use these words... just do them with AWARENESS... and honesty. And suddenly we can grasp the beauty.....  behind ... words...And will be able to feel the power of these wonderful yet, simple words... Stop and Notice.... when ever some one comes in front of us... and we greet the person.... or in fact the BELOVED dwelling inside that body.  :)

A deep Gratitude bubbles up from innermost core of our being.... A love so powerful.... That every malicious feeling automatically vanishes ... for any person.. when we use these greetings as a reverence meant for our CREATOR our GOD...

A lovely way created by SAINTS... to keep reminding us on daily bases.... yes.... HE dwells within each of us...

SO WITH UTMOST LOVING GRATITUDE
I BOW TO YOU..
TO THE DIVINE POWER
TO THE BELOVED DWELLING WITHIN YOU
YOU ... WHO IS READING THESE WORDS
I AM GREATFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
GIVEN BY HIM TO GREET HIM
IN YOUR FORM, WITHIN YOU....
