JOURNEY OF SOUL - GOD REALIZATION

Har Ek Rooh pyaasi, Har Ek dil swali. Every soul is thirsty and each heart is asking the question about BELOVED... Only where to look ? is the question. Whose right answer is hard to receive. Otherwise look at all those Satsangs. Look at all those religious or spiritual channels. And we will see huge crowd gathering to listen. To something.... Even they don’t know what.... But all they feel is this thirst. And so every one is gathered around some kind of satsang or another. Do we receive true answers ?? It is up to us to investigate.

Since ages, many believed that the stage of “AHUM BRAHMASMI “ depicted in Vedas, is the highest stage. That achieved, the soul has achieved Union with Brahma, understood own self – “Self Realization”, and reached ultimate abode. There are many, who still consider it the ultimate aim to be achieved. Ashrams, through out India are overflowing with aspirants wanting to reach this stage. But PERFECT MASTERS tells us the different story. THEY all tell us, that the knowledge given in Vedas, can not go beyond. Beyond, where the birth of Vedas took place. SWAMI JI MAHARAJ, even goes on to say – Vedas were born inside Third Realm. And all they can do is – tell us, what are the rules that bound all three realms. And according to those rules, how can we live a best life. Those who have knowledge goes on to say – That the Image one sees inside three realms, which makes one believe that they have reached stage of “ AHUM BRAHMASMI” “I am that Brahma/i am the creator” Is a mirage or illusion, shown by mind itself. Since soul hasn’t yet got rid of mind. A mind being the projector. Easily projects one more illusion.

Then comes – “SO AHUM “ or “SOHAM”. Which means – “That which the creator is, i am that”. Seems just like a different way of saying- Ahum Brahmasmi. But if we look closely – it still depicts – Duality. Since even in words there are two. HIM, and i. What ever HE is, i am that too. Simple logic. The soul hasn’t yet reached. In Sar Bachan SWAMI JI MAHARAJ gives us the stage where Soul receives this experience. Just before forth realm, is the real AMRITSAR/ MANSAROVER. When the soul takes bath in it. Mind and it’s vices are shed. As soul becomes free of mind, and stands there in her full glory. She realizes that she is of same essence as GOD is. In fact it is there she understand what she is. Here the true love and yearning for BELOVED is born. Till here what ever love or yearning we feel. Is creation of mind. And thus subject to ups and downs. It is near this AMRITSAR soul realizes... “SO AHUM/ SOHAM “. But this still is not the real GOD REALIZATION...

We hear the story of MANSOOR – AL- HALLAJ. HE while in the Meditative Glory of union with BELOVED uttered the words --- “I AM TRUTH” ( “I AM GOD”) ( ANA- L- HAQQ )  And those who heard HIM saying thus – immediately felt that HE committed worst kind of sin. It was because of these words. That HE was sentenced to death. A very gruesome death.  Tortured and decapitated. Though in BOOK OF MIRDAD, it is said--- that the only “I” that truely exists is the “I “ of GOD. So this “I “ is worthy. And later RUMI ji said --- Those who do not utter these words. Are true KAAFIRS.( not true Muslim. Muslim means – one who has taken refuge in GOD ) They are Kaafir, because that means, they haven’t done anything to realize THE TRUTH. Which is the real and soul purpose/ religion of soul.

So above Ahum Brahmasmi or Soham, this is the destination of soul – I AM TRUTH....... In fact it is still more further. Calling out I AM TRUTH .... feels like there is still some thing left.... For there can’t be anything left to say. Sometimes i feel... real destination could be – when as MASTER says --- Goongey ka Guud. A sweet eaten by one who can not speak. No words remaining. There is nothing to describe. For words are too small. That the destination is --- when soul becomes silent. Too full, or too complete to speak...

AND OF COURSE THIS KNOWLEDGE AND THIS STAGE CAN BE ACHIEVED THRU PERFECT LIVING MASTER. AND HIS GRACE, CAN AND WILL TAKE US.... TO THAT ULTIMATE REALIZATION.

May we reach... that kind of GOD REALIZATION soon. AMEN...

KEEP FAITH INTACT ...

This post was long overdue. 

For last so many years. Things one don’t want to hear, let alone read, keeps crossing our path. And the hardest one is to bear, when something is said about our MASTER. HE may smile and say, that it doesn’t bother HIM. And it is not going to make a difference what other’s think about HIM, or the  bad things they may be saying about HIM.

But it matters to us. And sometimes things become hard to bear. Some of the things said or written are hard enough and our faith shakes.

HE keeps saying, that don’t worry. Our faiths are always shaky till the time we don’t reach our inner MASTER.

First question we should ask ourselves... why our faith needs confirmations from outer sources ? We are so habitual in seeking every confirmation from outer sources.  Even the confirmation for our very own existence has to come from others. We are so habitual, that even for our faith we need others opinions and outer confirmations. That’s the reason for our love for SAAKHIS and stories of Miracles of MASTERS.

But then recently i came across an article, or shall i say a complete book. Which goes on to destroy the faith on inner MASTER’s existence. Coz that one is supposedly written by one who has numerous inner experiences. He was betrayed by his own MASTER. And even though in inner journeys his inner MASTER was with him. Now he goes on to say... that everything inside is also mind’s projection. And so no one needs MASTER. Since we have many spiritually advanced souls guiding us. And anyways, whatever we see inside is also at the very best, projections of our mind.

A real hard hit....

He doesn’t stop there. He goes on to study many Surat Shabad Yog MASTERS. And one by one dismiss them all frauds ... based on his own, very strong logic. He admits that GOD exists. But, not a single MASTER has monopoly over HIM. And they even mite be misleading us. And we don’t need MASTERS to reach GOD. For HE HIMSELF will guide us inside and guide us to reach HIM...

And so on...

His logic are so sound. That it can make anyone pause. Then there are sites like... Church of the churchless and David Lane books and many sites offers his essays about PERFECT MASTERS. Not always good, coz many are against MASTER too.

Internet has become a strange place. We don’t always get the knowledge we seek or what we want to read. For we may get some damaging stuff too.

And many a times i had chance to communicate fellow disciples, who stumble across these things and feel bewildered.

Justified...

For we are not yet at that level where we can protect our fragile faiths. We are still struggling in dark. And no light is visible in near parts of our spiritual horizon.

But then, we can think about just few little things....

Let me start with BABA FAQIR CHAND JI’S proclamations.  Which earned huge respect from intellectuals, and left many other simpletons bewildered. Bewildered enough to leave the path altogether.

I too faced that problem. I was very novice. New in spirituality. It wasn’t even my own chosen path. The path just sprung and grasped me. I wasn’t even sure i wanted any part in it. I was still struggling with worldly desires, their fulfillment and pains of unfulfilled ones. And there it was.... A shock !! Is my MASTER lying to me??? Suffering thru huge setback in my worldly life, this shock made me stagger soooo much, that keeping my mental balance became hardest job...

But now i understood HIS truth as well as my MASTER’S truth... Mind you... this all is my understanding and my believes. But may be it just mite help someone out there.

There are two ways of telling truth... one is gentle and one is to shake someone in hearing the truth... A rude awakening... Mostly in this world, most people prefer truth served gently. And some of the things belong to highly intellectual people or very advanced souls.

BABA FAQIR JI was right in what HE said... But so is my MASTER. Only THEIR ways of serving the truth is different.

Most of the SANTMAT MASTER’S prefer gentle way of delivering truth. And they leave those parts unsaid... which are not necessary for our mind to grasp. Not until we are very advanced in our spiritual evolution. And by then words are no longer necessary. It is up to us, that what way we want our truth to be served. And as many left path altogether after BABA FAQIR CHAND ji’s claims... figures that most of us want gentle awakenings. And that too is justified. For we are jostled way to much in our worldly dealings... who wants path to our GOD also be filled with rude awakenings only ??

The Santmat MASTERS, not only uses gentle way. But they also uses the power of suggestion’s power very wisely. Let us understand this with very well known analogy.

We know that snakes are poisonous. And this fact affects us soooo much, that when a not poisonous snake bites us. We die. Just becoz we believe we have poison in our body.

There was an interesting article some where, which i read long ago. In Africa there is a tribe which believes in Omens. One of the Omen, a site of particular bird or something is said to be indication of approaching death of the watcher. They believe in this omen so much that if some one is unfortunate enough to catch a glimpse of this particular Omen. He just lay down in his hut. And die. Medically there is nothing at all wrong with their body. They may be healthiest person alive. And yet they just die. It’s the power of suggestion to mind. Which creates a believe sooo strong. That death becomes  inevitable.  

So this is the kind of entity our mind is...

And Santmat MASTERS use this power for THEIR disciples benefit so beautifully. That only a MASTER can do so...

Let us consider few principles or theories or as these critics fondly call it.. Dogmas of Santmat.

We are told that after initiation MASTER places HIS radiant form inside us. Or more specifically third eye center. And when ever we reach there we will find HIM there, ready to guide us thru various spiritual realms.

We when starting the path somehow mistake this with the idea of the same physical MASTER getting inside our third eye center. Physically impossible. It’s the Audible Life Stream that takes the same form, in which we put our faith. And that is the reason uninitiated too sometimes catch a glimpse of HIS form inside. Coz they have faith ... and did HE ever lied to us.... never ever... HE never said “ I will be standing there ”. HE always said... Shabad or radiant MASTER... even KULMALIK... HE told us that much truth we needed to hear. Rest all is intellectual’s needs. And most of us when ever we reach MASTER’S fold are at starting point. And as we don’t do our spiritual practices , meditation... we die at that starting point.. ( forgive the need to depict it as starting point... coz i don’t believe we remain at starting point. Once we reach MASTER, even if don’t meditate, but we do keep changing inside.. )( starting point here means at the understanding level of this birth outside) And so most of us, don’t need more explanations, other then HE provides.

Ultimately HE is using HIS physical form to instill that kind of faith in us... which creates enough believe and enough love inside us... that Shabad is forced to perform Miracles.... we may attribute them to physical MASTER, or Shabad- the true MASTER. But as we can always see... HE never takes the credits. Always asks us to thank GOD... or SATGURU. But never uses—the word—I or ME.

HE always said... it’s Shabad which will take us back home... HE uses SATGURU for HIS own MASTER. Or even the true MASTER- SHABAD. It is we who in our mind attribute this to our physical MASTER.

In HIS criticism it is said – that Santmat MASTERS take the whole credit of taking a soul back home. As if no one else can. Or as if soul herself can not reach on her own. Well, the truth is that soul can not reach with her own help. She needs help of GOD/ SHABAD/ OR SHABAD MASTER.

HE never said anything else. HE is saying the same thing over and over again. Never took credit. And if in some any veiled way we felt HIM to agreeing... let us ask --- did that harm us ?? or did that help in strengthening  our faith ?

If it strengthened, then what’s wrong ??  After all spiritual growth is the story of faith only. It is love and faith which is going to extract us from worldly attachments and force us to walk towards our creator.

And that is what HE is trying to achieve.

Then sometimes we read criticism about Sewa !! For GOD’S sake..... who can criticize that !!. Doing some community service is advisable trait of society. This point is not even worth discussing... Dogma indeed !!

Does Sachkhand exists ? are there really so many realms ? do we need help to reach anywhere ?

DOES IT MATTER ??

At the level where we exist. Nothing is sure. Life is uncertain and so is our every breath. There is nothing in this whole universe which is certain. And plus, we ourselves with our minds can never completely understand everything. Let alone spiritual scriptures. If and when we reach inner spiritual realms. This fact is for sure – we can not judge rite from wrong, real from unreal even there.

Ask any so called mentally ill person. Who sees hallucinations. Or the one who see imaginary friends. Ask them that whatever they see is it real or unreal ? they will convincingly tell us that what they see is 100% real.

While MYSTICS tell us, that this world is unreal. We too are convinced it is real. So whose mind is playing trick ? we can never reach the rite answers on our own. Can we ? if we are blessed with intellect. The very best thing we can do, we can explain mind with the help of mind. And that is what we keep doing on our own.

And anyways. Look at us. In this world, we are always afraid of being alone. To save us from being alone, we keep looking for any partner. Even end up adjusting with wrong one. If we are lost in forest. And someone comes to us, saying – i know the way. Won’t we just crave his company ? won’t we just tag along ?

So what about spiritual realms? Where we don’t know anything. Can’t even understand what is trick of mind and what is real. In that spiritual jungle. If someone offers us, to give HIS company. What’s wrong in that ?

And if that SOMEONE is, the best example of best human being... why can’t we trust HIM then ?

There is so much that can be said. But once i, who wasn’t even on spiritual path by then... concluded somewhere – If a person is doing only good. And no harm... then this person deserves our faith or applause. He even deserves to be followed.

MASTER, at the very best can be described as an enigma. But i have learned this much --- Let others keep saying whatever they feel like. Let them ....

None of us have authority over the projections of our minds. We can keep playing intellectual games. And it will still leave us not wiser. Coz ultimately it is the faculty of soul, which can understand right from wrong. Not mind. Mind can keep us hanging like a yo-yo. 

It is our need to stop depending on outer sources. Stop looking for Saakhis Or stories of Miracles. To build our faith. And start listening to our instincts. Which comes from soul..

And my instinct says.... I don't know if Sachkhand exists or not... But my MASTER says so. It doesn't even matter. Till HE exists in our life. sachkhand is there, with us, with HIM... 
HE is best example in this world full of deceit. And my soul responds positively to HIS every gesture. And THAT... IS ENOUGH FOR ME..

I no longer need Saakhis, or question and answer sessions records. And i no longer search for other words.. HIS are always enough... 

All i can advice for those who stumble across such sites and words... Stop looking towards outer sources. And let's do what HE advice... go within.. 

And till we can not do that... just remember .... the love of soul and yearning to reach BELOVED is enough... Even if it was a misfortune of some soul to come across some MASTER, who betrayed her.... Still her love and HIS grace will some day help her reach the right one... 

Till then just keep the fire of love burning...
